In modern industry, electricity is much more than a resource – it is the driving force behind every production process, every automated system and every digital infrastructure. From production lines and robotic cells to data centers, telecommunications facilities and energy facilities – they all rely on a constant, high-quality and stable power supply. Despite the development of power distribution networks, power outages, voltage fluctuations and electrical interference continue to be a real risk. In many cases, even a split-second interruption is enough to stop a production process, restart a server, damage electronics or lead to the loss of critical data. This is why industrial UPS systems are an indispensable part of modern critical infrastructure. They do not just provide backup power in the event of a power outage, but constantly maintain the quality of the supplied electricity, protecting equipment from all adverse influences of the network.

With the Garun and Ranger industrial series, the NJOY brand offers high-performance three-phase UPS solutions designed for environments where reliability is not a desirable feature, but a must. The Garun series covers capacities from 10 to 80 kVA, while the Ranger reaches up to 180 kVA, allowing the construction of solutions for both medium-sized enterprises and large industrial complexes and data centers.

Why is an industrial UPS different?

Many users connect UPS devices to small office solutions that provide a few minutes of computer operation during a power outage.

Industrial systems, however, are designed with a completely different philosophy. Their task is not only to maintain power supply for a certain time. They must continuously provide ideal power quality regardless of the state of the power grid. Industrial loads often include frequency converters, PLC controllers, SCADA systems, industrial computers, telecommunications equipment, medical equipment and sensitive electronic components. All of them react extremely sensitively to voltage drops, short interruptions, harmonic distortions and electromagnetic interference. For this reason, industrial UPS systems operate continuously.

The technology behind maximum protection

The basis of NJOY’s industrial UPS solutions is Online Double Conversion technology, considered the highest class of power supply protection. The process eliminates risks through two stages: first, the incoming AC power from the grid is converted to DC power, which completely filters out all power surges and network interference, and then this purified power is transformed back into a perfect sine wave, which supplies absolutely safe and stable power to the delicate equipment. In practice, the connected equipment never receives power directly from the grid. This means that all fluctuations, micro-interruptions, surges, voltage drops, noise and frequency deviations are eliminated before the power reaches the consumers.

One of the biggest advantages of this technology is the lack of switching time. In the event of a mains power failure, the batteries take over the load instantly, without interrupting the operation of the equipment. It is this characteristic that makes Online UPS systems indispensable for critical applications where even a millisecond of interruption is unacceptable.

Designed for large-scale industrial systems

The Garun and Ranger series are designed to be integrated into infrastructures of various scales.

Garun offers configurations with capacities from 10 to 80 kVA, the ability to use internal or external batteries, a large 5-inch touch display, and parallel operation of up to three devices. Additionally, it supports various input-output configurations (3:3, 3:1, and 1:1), which facilitates integration into various power distribution schemes.

For applications with even higher requirements, NJOY offers the Ranger series with capacities from 30 to 180 kVA. Some models are optimized for cabinet installation, are equipped with a large 7-inch touch display and allow parallel connection of up to four devices. Thanks to the intelligent architecture, the systems can be expanded according to the future development of the site, without the need for a complete replacement of the infrastructure.

One of the main goals in designing an industrial UPS is to minimize the risk of downtime for machinery and equipment. In manufacturing plants, every minute of downtime can mean a halt to production lines, loss of raw materials, or failure to meet production schedules. In data centers, this can lead to service disruptions, and in hospitals, it can pose a serious risk to medical equipment.

That's why industrial UPS systems are designed to operate continuously - 24 hours a day, seven days a week, under high loads and in harsh operating conditions.

The highly efficient three-phase architecture and powerful charging modules of the Garun and Ranger series ensure optimal management of battery systems and reliable operation even during prolonged power outages.

Intelligent control and easier maintenance

Modern UPS systems are now an integral part of the digital infrastructure of enterprises. They must provide real-time information, signal events and enable effective management. That is why NJOY industrial solutions feature large color touch displays that visualize key parameters such as input and output voltage, load, battery status and operating mode. This facilitates both daily operation and preventive maintenance - an approach that allows potential problems to be detected and eliminated before they lead to a failure. NJOY UPS products are used in manufacturing plants, automated lines, telecommunications centers, energy facilities, security systems, healthcare facilities and data centers.

All these environments have one thing in common – the need for continuous operation. That is why a UPS system should not be considered an expense, but an investment in business reliability. The choice of a UPS does not end with the purchase of the device. Correct sizing, professional installation and quality service are equally important for long-term operation. NJOY complements its product portfolio with standard and extended warranty services, installation, maintenance and service options, which allows for the construction of a complete solution tailored to the needs of the specific project.

With the development of industrial automation and digital transformation, the requirements for power quality are constantly increasing. More and more enterprises realize that a reliable UPS system is not a backup option for emergency situations, but a core element of the infrastructure that ensures uninterrupted production and investment protection. NJOY's Garun and Ranger industrial series combine Online Double Conversion technology, three-phase architecture, scalability, intelligent management and high reliability in one complete solution. This makes them a suitable choice for organizations seeking security, efficiency and long-term sustainability of their critical systems.
